Description
The counseling faculty at the University of Vermont seeks applicants for a full-time 9-month, clinical assistant professor beginning in Fall 2026. The role will involve coordinating our community counseling clinic, teaching core courses in our MS programs in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling, advising students, and engaging service to the University and counseling profession.
Qualified applicants will have earned a master’s degree in counseling from a CACREP accredited program (or relevant clinical degree in a closely related field) and be licensed or licensed eligible as a LCMHC in Vermont. Applicants will also have experience coordinating/managing a mental health clinic, teaching at the graduate level, and supervising counseling students. A doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision is desired. Review of applications will begin October 31, 2025, and continue until the position is filled.
