Well Roots Counseling is a private practice specializing in reproductive, perinatal mental health, and trauma, as well as therapy for adults, couples, and families.
We are currently hiring a full or part-time licensed mental health provider to join our team. Accepted licensures include LPC/LCMHC, LMFT, or LCSW (associate licensed clinicians will be considered) The ideal candidate is a thoughtful and grounded clinician who values relationship based care and brings strong clinical judgment and trauma informed awareness to their work.
Position Responsibilities The clinician in this role will:
Provide outpatient psychotherapy to adults, parents, and couples Support clients navigating pregnancy, infertility, postpartum adjustment, and the transition to parenthood Provide trauma informed and relationally focused therapy Maintain ethical and professional documentation and clinical standards Participate in ethical marketing and professional outreach by maintaining accurate professional profiles and actively building referral relationships with community providers. This includes introducing yourself to local clinicians, physicians, OB GYN practices, doulas, lactation consultants, and other professionals who support parents and families, maintaining those relationships through periodic follow up communication, and representing the practice in the community in a professional manner consistent with licensure and ethical standards.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Active Colorado and North Carolina license as an LPC/LCMHC, LMFT, or LCSW (associate licensed clinicians will be considered) Minimum of one year of outpatient counseling experience post graduate training Experience providing therapy to adults, couples, or families Completion of or willingness to complete Postpartum Support International training Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a private practice setting Ability to provide virtual therapy sessions
Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following experience is strongly preferred:
Clinical experience in perinatal mental health Experience supporting clients with pregnancy related concerns, infertility, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, and adjustment to motherhood Experience or interest in parent-child therapy or play therapy Training in women’s mental health and reproductive mental health EMDR, IFS, Brainspotting, Somatic trained
