Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain the individual needs of children and adolescents, utilizing structured interviews and standardized tests as necessary.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on assessment findings, family dynamics, and the child's developmental stage, ensuring plans are evidence-based and tailored.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family systems therapy, to address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
- Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at strengthening the family unit, empowering parents, and equipping caregivers to support their child effectively.
- Collaborate with child psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients, enhancing overall treatment outcomes.
- Provide crisis intervention services to children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring safety and effective support during these critical moments.
- Educate patients and families regarding mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources to foster awareness and promote proactive engagement.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards while adhering to best practices regarding electronic health records.
- Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and ongoing advancements in child and adolescent mental health to continuously enhance therapeutic techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.
- Deep understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and effective treatment strategies.
- Experience in providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, demonstrating a strong patient-centric approach.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling rapport-building and trust with clients and their families.
- Competence in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, contributing to efficient clinical workflows.
- A commitment to working cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team framework.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, specifically focusing on child and adolescent populations.

Compensation and Benefits
