Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate each client's substance use history and mental health status, helping to identify their specific needs.
- Design personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients to address both addiction and any underlying mental health issues, ensuring a comprehensive approach to recovery.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
- Work synergistically with team members, including medical professionals and case managers, to ensure clients receive well-rounded care and support throughout their recovery journey.
- Educate clients' families on addiction and recovery processes, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for support and healing.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies to ensure legal and ethical standards are upheld.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will primarily work with individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and experiences. Your role will be vital in guiding them through their recovery process and empowering them to reclaim their lives.
Qualifications
- A valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated training or experience in addiction counseling and familiarity with the challenges encountered in recovery.
- Proficient knowledge of evidence-based practices related to substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges.
- Strong therapeutic skills coupled with the ability to motivate clients toward positive change.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for successful collaboration with team members and clients.
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, experience working in telehealth settings or delivering remote therapy can enhance your effectiveness in this role. Previous involvement with diverse populations and evidence of continued education in addiction-related topics will be considered beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
