Work Environment

This remote work opportunity allows you to maintain a work-life balance while focusing on improving the mental health outcomes of clients who often face various life challenges. You will be an integral part of a progressive team that operates out of a detox center, ensuring access to a full spectrum of care for our clients. The position provides flexibility in your work hours, with a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to effectively fulfill your personal and professional commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions, utilizing secure communication platforms to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs.
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans alongside clients to meet their unique mental health goals and foster their journey toward recovery.
• Engage in collaborative case management with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to optimize client care and therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant client records in accordance with all regulatory guidelines, including progress notes and treatment updates.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on clients undergoing detoxification and individuals struggling with substance use disorders, mental health challenges, or a combination of both. You will work with a diverse clientele, requiring a thorough understanding of the complexities of addiction, trauma, and various mental health disorders. Your expertise will contribute significantly to their recovery journey, helping them navigate their challenges with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating your competency in various therapeutic modalities.
• Strong skills in conducting assessments, developing treatment strategies, and implementing evidence-based practices.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and fostering an inclusive environment for all clients.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, candidates with a history of working in substance use treatment or detox settings will stand out. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and experience in crisis intervention will enhance your candidacy for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

In exchange for your expertise and commitment to improving the lives of our clients, Positive Change Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 110,000.
