This position is primarily remote, offering the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own space. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a treatment caseload, establishing rapport with clients while adhering to professional ethics and setting healthy boundaries.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess progress, provide stability, and discuss discharge plans when appropriate.
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with each client's specific needs and goals.
- Document and maintain client progress notes and treatment history accurately and timely, in compliance with organizational standards.
- Perform comprehensive intake assessments for new patients to tailor treatment approaches effectively.
- Facilitate individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, applying evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
- Engage in regular supervision to foster personal and clinical growth.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain a growth mindset, continually seeking to advance clinical skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our client population primarily includes youth and individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. We aim to provide a nurturing environment where all clients feel safe and understood during their therapeutic journey.
Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.
- Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements relevant to clinical practice at our facility.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and providing both individual and group therapy.
- Basic computer skills, including experience in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in telehealth services with a strong ability to engage and establish rapport with clients virtually.
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Proven experience in treatment planning and outcome measurement.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of USD 65,000 – 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
