Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2-3 years of cardiac cath lab and vascular experience, including PPM implants, for a 13-week travel assignment in New Jersey.
Details
- Work in a hospital-based cardiac cath lab with float coverage to a smaller satellite campus where the technologist may be the sole tech on duty
- Procedures include cardiac catheterization, PCI, Fistogram, Vascular Angiogram, PTA, and PPM Implant
- Equipment used includes IVUS, PFR, IFR, and a Philips x-ray machine
- Charting via GE Mac Lab and Cerner (experience preferred)
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Minimum of 7 call days per month required, including weekends and holidays
- No blocked scheduling
Requirements
- 2-3 years of current cardiac cath lab (CV) experience required
- Cardiac cath lab and vascular experience required, including PPM implants and vascular procedures
- ARRT(R) with NJ license required if applicable, or RCIS
- Current BLS and ACLS required
- Proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring for cardiac cath and vascular invasive procedures
- Experience with 2HC/RHC/PCI, Peripheral Angiogram, PTA, and PPM Implant procedures
- Experience with IVUS, PFR, and IFR equipment
- Must be comfortable working independently, as float coverage may involve being the only technologist on site
- Neuro experience preferred

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs are provided by the facility and changed daily; personal lead aprons are welcome but unit will provide as needed
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local rate differential
