Principal Accountabilities
- Ensure safe operation of utilities and refrigeration systems by applying knowledge of Hazmat, Emergency Response (ER), and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
- Maintain the reliability and safe performance of ammonia refrigeration, boiler systems, and other highly hazardous industrial processes
- Ensure accurate documentation, planning, and execution of maintenance tasks by effectively using computers and the facility's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Support equipment reliability and predictive maintenance programs by utilizing PdM technologies such as infrared (IR), ultrasonic (UE), vibration analysis (VA), and oil analysis (OA)
- Maintain system functionality by applying technical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, electrical systems, and mechanical components during maintenance and troubleshooting activities
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of industrial refrigeration experience in an industrial environment
- Experience using computers and a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and cover shifts before or after scheduled work
- Prior experience working in a Process Safety Management (PSM)–regulated ammonia refrigeration or hazardous process environment
- Must successfully complete a Pulmonary Function Test
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Cargill experience
- Work history in the past 12 months
